Doris Gonzalez is a dual certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Doris believes that optimal healthcare encompasses providing compassionate and expert care while treating the whole person and integrates both holistic and medical components together to facilitate optimized health. Doris has active memberships in several professional organizations including Texas Nurse Practitioners, American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and American Nurses Association. Doris and her family live in Wylie and love hiking in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, DIY projects, reading, gardening, movies and oil painting. Her favorite quote is: “All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us”.

Doris holds several degrees including an associate’s degree in nursing, graduating with honors from Collin College. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing UT Arlington and holds a Master of Science in Nursing Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Degree.

Doris is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) and also Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
